Dr. McNaught

McNaught
1980 BS degree in Dental Hygiene from Eastern Washington University in Cheney, Washington.
1986 DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) degree from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.
Continuing Education includes membership in the Southwest Implant Study Club, and the Minnetonka Study Club.
Member and past president of the Minneapolis District Dental Society [MDDS] for over 25 years. The MDDS works with the Minnesota Dental Association [MDA], the American Dental Association [ADA] and our local government to better the whole field of dentistry.
Long Lake Dental started with Dr. John Sagehorn, who practiced for 50 years, retiring in 2008. I joined the practice as Dr. Sagehorn’s associate, in 1986, where I began working with some of the great people that are still at LLD today! As a team, we enjoy working together, and we have set and maintained our goal for providing excellent, professional dental healthcare to all our patients.
I am a native of Montana, born and raised in Great Falls. I attended the University of Montana in Missoula, where many family members still live today. I made my home in Minnesota back in 1981, and my two brothers and their families also call this area home.
My lovely wife, Kate, has been working with me at Long Lake Dental for 20+ years, as the office manager and partner in all major office decisions. We have 3 grown children, our oldest son who lives in Chicago, our daughter who also lives in Deephaven with her husband and three kids, and our youngest daughter who lives in Minneapolis and is a graphic designer.
I have lived in Deephaven for 30 years and I love this lake community with all the activities it offers – from sailing and fishing in the summer to skiing, ice boating and ice fishing in the winter. I am a huge “garage sale” shopper and I love to search for and find collectible antiques, and old nautical, hunting, and fishing equipment.
I cannot think of another profession where I could be more happy. I love the challenge of dentistry, both the routine and easy, and the difficult and thought provoking. I thank my staff and colleagues for voting me three times into the Minnesota Monthly Magazine ranking for the “Top Dentists” in the area. I love helping people and am dedicated to doing my best.

Dr. Bowling

Dr. Bowling
University of Iowa, Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance [2003] and Doctor of Dental Surgery [2007]
I grew up in Iowa but spent countless weeks with my family at my grandparents’ Minnesota lake home. I have enjoyed calling Minnesota home since graduating
from college.
I am an active participant of both the Minnetonka Study Club and the Southwest Implant Study Club. I meet regularly with other area general dentists and specialists to discuss new technology, current trends and cases in dentistry. I choose to stay very active in lifelong learning through continued education and collaboration
with colleagues.
I truly enjoy treating people of all ages, from very young children to older adult. The wide variety of people that I get to know and care for makes my career very enjoyable. Getting children started with good oral hygiene and habits at a young age is key to a lifetime of healthy teeth, gums – and a great smile!
When I am not spending time with my wife, our two children and the family dog, I am most likely out enjoying the great outdoors or taking in a ball game!
I look forward to seeing you at Long Lake Dental!

Jackie JPEG
Graduate of the University of Minnesota. I have been working at Long Lake Dental for many years and continue to do so because of the wonderful staff and patients here.
I attend many continuing education classes to stay current on treatment options for our patients. I volunteer at “Give Kids a Smile” – a program at Sharing and Caring Hands, I volunteer  for the Golf Classic “Fore” Diabetes Research, and I also work on the “Pay It Forward” Fundraiser to help patients with their bills while going through breast cancer.
Patient relationships are important to me and I will try to make each patient comfortable while delivering quality care.
My husband and I have 2 daughters who attend the University of Minnesota, and an adorable yellow lab.
I enjoy walking, boating, golfing, fishing, traveling and gardening.

I started my career at Long Lake Dental as a dental assistant in 2007 where I worked alongside Dr. Bowling for two years. In 2009 I decided to further my education by becoming a dental hygienist and graduated from Century College in May of 2011 with an Associates of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. I look forward to maintaining and starting new relationships with all of our patients!
In my spare time I enjoy taking advantage of Minnesota’s great seasons with my husband. We love to travel and have a lengthy bucket list of places we want to visit. Our dog, Tillie, captures a lot of our attention and is “slightly” spoiled.

I feel very lucky to be a part of this amazing dental family! I enjoy meeting and learning about our patients and strive to build comfortable and trusting relationships with them.
When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I spend much of my free time working on my new home, going to the cabin, and traveling.
